This aircraft was purchased in early summer by Dave and Carolyn Olson as a partially built Avid Magnum kit. Assembly continued through late summer and into the fall.

The Magnum was brought to Chapter 292 from Grants Pass on November 10 with the intention of covering the complete aircraft as a chapter project.
