Airport approach procedures will be broadcast on 122.8 

Arrival requests:

  • Use standard pattern only
  • No straight-in
  • No overhead entry
  • No fly by
  • No side by side
  • No formation flight

 

In case of congestion,  

  • Landing 34: orbit to the left (counterclockwise) 5 nm northwest (over Dallas) at pattern altitude.  Be aware of NWR north of highway!  Enter on 45 for downwind for runway 34.
  • Landing 16: orbit to the left (counterclockwise) 5 nm southeast (over Buena Vista).  Be aware of NWR east of river! Enter on 45 for downwind for runway 16.

 

Departure requests:

  • Proceed on runway heading for 5 miles and 1500 ft. or higher.

 

Ground:  Frequency to be announced

 

After proceeding to Ramp, A/C parking will direct traffic.

 

Parking on ramp for transient traffic until full, then in the southern portion of the Airpark
