Teen Aviation Weekend

EAA Chapter 292 offers a weekend work shop where interested high-school students can explore aviation and aerospace in more detail.

During the two day workshop, free of charge, the participants will learn how airplanes fly, how to make sure an airplane is safe and about navigation and weather. They will build and test a flying model airplane and learn about aviation professions. Finally, they will apply their new knowledge in a flight with one of our Chapter 292 pilots.  This extensive program requires registration and there are no fees involved.

The workshop is supported by the Salem RC Pilots Association, the Ninety-Nines (an international organization of women pilots) and the Oregon Pilot’s Association
