At the EAA Chapter meeting in May we brought out 001 for a demonstration.


Chapter members watch the runup as the mighty VW threatens to rip the tie down chain right out of the ramp.


It ran so well that we took the chain off the tail and Al taxied it around the ramp.


This demonstration was entered in the log as taxi test 1.


The second engine has been mounted.


Some members work on #002 (right) while others prepare #001 for the FAA inspection.


A whole bunch of fuselages getting the firewalls prepared for engines.

We all liked the wood look so much that we're making him do this to the V-Struts, landing gear legs, and cabanes on all of the aircraft.

The cable under the axle braces it so it doesn't sag.
